Endline survey of an integrated home fortification project in the Amhara and Tigray regions of Ethiopia

In 2016, an endline survey was conducted following implementation of an integrated home fortification project in the Amhara and Tigray regions of Ethiopia. The project aimed to improve complementary feeding practices through the delivery of a micronutrient powder (MNP) and behaviour change communication messages distributed through the public health system.

The objective of the endline survey was to examine the effectiveness of programme by comparing the results of key outcome indicators to those from a baseline survey in the same population. The results document successes and challenges of integrating MNP delivery into existing health services and infant and child feeding activities.
